About the role

Manager leading a team of 11 Digital Cloud Solution Architects (DCSAs) in UK & Ireland to deliver on CAIP (Cloud & AI Platforms) initiatives, drive Azure adoption, and achieve Azure consumption and revenue growth through strategic account and territory planning, collaboration with sales and partners, and development of team capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coach, manage and evaluate a high-performing, deeply technical team of 11 CAIP DCSAs by setting a clear bar for excellence.
  • Coach team to plan portfolio growth and utilize portfolio plans to build industry/team plans, leveraging own expertise and hands-on experiences.
  • Act as a strategic partner to executive-level business and technical decision makers to guide customers in defining and realizing their digital and business transformational targets.
  • Coach and enable your team to accelerate Azure projects to production, including guidance on architectural design, technical recommendations, blocker escalations and technical resource orchestration.
  • Lead team to engage accounts to drive services consumption and up-sell and cross-sell based on strategic plans and needs.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual team targets (ACR, NNR, pipe generation) and manage forecast and CRM hygiene; identify performance plans in weekly deal and pipeline reviews.
  • Drive disciplined forecast management and inspection processes with DCSA and Sales leadership to ensure accountable execution against regional targets.
  • Support and enable the team to drive customer change and optimization using change management principles.
  • Own the DCSA CAIP rhythm of business (ROB) across UKI, contribute to ROBs and IARs, including pipeline/forecast reviews and executive stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead strategic account and territory planning with Sales Units, ensuring investments align with high-impact opportunities and growth motions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical delivery, sales and/or technical architecture, technical consulting, solution design and implementation, cloud solution delivery, customer success
  • Demonstrated Azure / Cloud + AI Platform (CAIP) expertise (L200+) and strong understanding of CAIP business, Azure solution plays, and cloud growth drivers
  • Extensive direct people management experience, coaching and leading high-performing technical solution architects or sellers
  • Commercial mindset with experience driving cloud revenue growth, pipeline acceleration, forecasting and opportunity management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field or relevant certifications from Microsoft or similar platforms
  • Flexible to equivalents in technical architecture, consulting, and cloud delivery roles
