About the role

Digital Solution Engineer (DSE) for Cloud & AI Infra in the Microsoft Elevate team, partnering with education organizations across LATAM to drive AI and Cloud innovation, win technical decisions, and help customers scale production deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical sales with customers’ technical decision makers (TDMs) leveraging processes and tools, demos, programs, offers, and drive proof of concepts (POCs) using consultative sales methodology and technical expertise across other Digital Solution Engineers to influence the customer vision.
  • Build trusted advisor relationship with customers’ technical decision makers (TDMs and TDM-1) and use proactive effort to find and understand customers’ pain points and work together with customers to co-develop secure & resilient solution architecture for production scale delivery using Microsoft and Industry practices including Unified Support and Partner Led offers for every opportunity.
  • Overcome competitors and technical objections and manage customer escalation with engineering team to share insights and best practices for product improvements.
  • Maintain and grow expertise in Cloud Migration and Modernization (Win, SQL, Linux, App workloads, resiliency, security, compliance) and enterprise applications such as ERP, LMS and education industry applications.
  • Maintain and grow expertise in Azure Infrastructure, Modernization, AI and Security.
  • Keep up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the infrastructure technical community.
  • CRM milestones pipeline ownership, including forecast reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in written, reading, and conversational Spanish, Portuguese, and English to support business operations and customer/stakeholder communications across the applicable markets.
