About the role

Digital Security Engineer focused on enabling AI-driven security and cloud solutions for SME&C, with emphasis on extended detection and response, zero trust, and Microsoft Purview within a collaborative, partner-driven sales and technical team.

Responsibilities

  • Scale Customer Engagements - subject matter expert leading technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, production ready pilots for Microsoft solutions, focusing on customer acquisition at the top of the funnel and cloud technologies.
  • Scale Through Partners - orchestrating complex solutions with internal and external partners for multiple Microsoft online services and solutions.
  • Build Strategy - influences competitive strategy leveraging partner and internal teams; voices the voice of the customer to support business outcomes and promote usage.
  • Solution design & Proof - identifying and diagnosing technical, architectural, and competitive blockers and developing solutions for sales opportunities; ensuring integration into customer environments per Microsoft standards.
  • Technical Leadership - prepare technical insights and key scenarios to drive technical and business outcomes; own technical discussions against competitors in the security domain including Microsoft and competitors.
  • Showcase a learning mentality - invest in personal learning in the Cybersecurity arena with team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years (preferred) technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • 4+ years experience with cloud and hybrid/on-prem infrastructures, architectures, migrations, standards, and/or technology management
  • Certification in relevant Microsoft or industry technologies (e.g., Microsoft Office 365; Power BI; Azure Administrator/Architecture/Development; Cloud Platform Technologies; Information Security; Architecture)
