About the role

Senior Digital Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft (SME&C). Leads engagements to drive revenue and Azure consumption, builds customer relationships, and designs modern cloud solutions on Azure. Flexible to work up to 50% from home; on-site in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, drive, and manage engagements for repeatable achievement of revenue and consumption targets.
  • Leverage best practices to guide customer strategy and future growth to expand the use of Azure by cultivating customer affinity with Microsoft programs/solutions; provide feedback to Microsoft on customer needs and blockers.
  • Conduct analyses of customer usage versus needs; drive greater consumption of cloud and support; provide guidance to expand, retain, and optimize Azure consumption.
  • Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernized roadmap; architect solutions to meet business and IT needs; ensure technical viability and successful deployments.
  • Run Architectural Design Sessions to build plans for implementing solutions aligned to customer goals and technical environments.
  • Collaborate with other Digital Cloud Solution Architects and the Microsoft ecosystem to ensure properly deployed Azure cloud solutions.
  • Manage progress in CRM to forecast, assess risk, and identify exceptional performance plans; participate in weekly deal and pipeline reviews to meet targets.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering with 4+ years experience OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms with 3+ years experience in technical roles to a similar scope.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
