About the role

Responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of AI-driven platform by testing web and mobile applications, automating testing processes, collaborating with development teams, performing performance testing, documenting test cases, and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

  • Test and Validate Front-End and Back-End Systems: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of front-end and back-end systems. You will perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to guarantee every aspect of our platform meets high standards.
  • Automate Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for our web and mobile applications. Your goal is to ensure that repetitive tasks are automated to improve efficiency and allow the team to focus on exploratory testing.
  • Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with front-end and back-end engineers to identify, document, and resolve defects. You will have a key role in driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure Product Quality: Advocate for quality at all stages of the development process. You will define acceptance criteria, review requirements, and provide input on product design and usability to ensure the highest quality outcomes.
  • Performance and Load Testing: Continuously monitor and test the performance of our systems. You will identify bottlenecks, provide recommendations for improvement, and work with the team to ensure the platform is always operating at peak efficiency.
  • Create and Maintain Documentation: Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results. Documentation should be thorough to ensure repeatability and transparency.
  • Mentor Team Members: Support and elevate junior QA engineers by providing hands-on guidance, conducting thorough test plan reviews, and fostering a culture of learning.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, specifically in SaaS or artificial intelligence applications.
  • Strong proficiency in testing web and mobile applications.
  • Proven experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
  • Strong knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Deep familiarity with performance and load testing frameworks.
  • Expert in version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
  • In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and bug reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
  • Ability to take full ownership of testing features and see them through from concept to deployment.
  • Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and leading technical discussions.
  • Strong experience working in Scrum and Agile frameworks.
