About the role
Lead the product development process for AI-powered virtual sales agents at Sameday, overseeing product vision, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional value.
Responsibilities
- Define Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with our company goals.
- Lead Product Development: Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure cohesive execution.
- Customer Research and Insights: Engage directly with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and validate product ideas.
- Prioritize Features and Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.
- Measure and Analyze Product Success: Define key performance metrics, track product performance post-launch, and iterate based on data.
- Ensure Product Quality: Advocate for quality at all stages of development, define acceptance criteria, and conduct user testing.
- Mentor Team Members: Support and elevate junior product managers by providing guidance, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of learning.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in product management, specifically in SaaS or AI applications.
- Strong understanding of agile product development methodologies.
- Proven experience in developing and managing software products from concept to launch.
- Ability to understand technical challenges and work effectively with engineering teams.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Trello, or other product management software.
- Experience mentoring junior product managers and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong experience working in Scrum and Agile frameworks.
