About the role

A highly technical role within the Business Control team focusing on SQL, data pipelining, and building robust data models in Snowflake to support business controls, KPIs, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Data Control Pipeline Development: Build and maintain business control data pipelines from scratch using complex SQL queries in Snowflake.
  • Complex SQL Querying: Design, build, and optimize queries to analyze data, identify anomalies, and track trends.
  • Control Framework Implementation: Translate business logic into automated, scalable data models and tests.
  • KPI & Data Model Creation: Develop data models in Snowflake for KPIs, BI tools, and FP&A models.
  • Process Monitoring & Adaptation: Monitor impact of product releases on data streams and update control frameworks accordingly.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Understand business needs and translate into technical data solutions, including presenting findings.
  • Documentation: Document data models, control processes, and pipeline logic.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL with experience in complex querying techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse.
  • Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large datasets.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data, Finance, Economics or related field.
