About the role

Engineering Manager role focused on leading design and delivery of production-grade AI agents, owning the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC), and partnering with enterprises and startups to shape Sierra’s platform and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI agents
  • Own the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from pilot to deployment and continuous iteration
  • Coach engineers to uphold ADLC best practices and ensure on-time delivery
  • Collaborate with large enterprises and startups to understand business challenges and deploy AI agents at scale
  • Shape the future of Sierra’s platform by surfacing unmet needs and prioritizing initiatives with cross-functional teams (research, product, platform)

Qualifications

  • Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
  • Hands-on leadership style blending high standards with empathy
  • Proven ability to translate customer business needs into technical deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
