About the role

Frontend-focused software engineer responsible for owning frontend across product and marketing surfaces, leading design system, crafting pixel-perfect UI, and ensuring frontend excellence with full-stack collaboration (GraphQL and Go) in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own frontend across product and marketing surfaces: build features in the web app and collaborate on website branding and UX to ensure a cohesive experience.
  • Lead design system and UI components: design, build, and maintain a scalable design system and reusable component library; collaborate with designers to establish guidelines and patterns.
  • Craft pixel-perfect user experiences: translate Figma designs into reality with pixel-perfect precision and delightful interactions.
  • Champion frontend excellence: set and uphold high standards for performance, accessibility, and code quality; optimize for speed and ensure cross-browser/device compatibility; include accessibility and internationalization practices.
  • Move fast with pragmatism and quality: iterate quickly, balance rapid delivery with maintainability and polish, choosing quick solutions when appropriate.
  • Full-stack involvement: integrate frontend with GraphQL API and occasionally update server-side code (Go/gqlgen) to unblock frontend work.

Qualifications

  • Frontend expertise and modern skills: 5+ years building web interfaces with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS; experience shipping production UIs; bonus for Tailwind or similar CSS frameworks.
