About the role

A customer success role responsible for building relationships with clients, managing a diverse portfolio, and ensuring a high-quality experience, with a focus on Australian payroll clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of SMB/MM or ENT and Payroll accounts, including low to mid-sized spend accounts and strategic growth accounts.
  • Identify and flag risks leading to customer churn, engage internal stakeholders for resolution, and communicate with customers.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and conduct regular business reviews.
  • Collect product and operational feedback from clients and share it with relevant internal teams.
  • Provide a high-quality experience to customers daily.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to respond to and complete customer requests promptly.
  • Drive adoption of platform features to improve customer retention and experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant client-facing experience as a CSM or Account Manager.
  • Experience working with Payroll clients/accounts.
  • Previous experience in a fast-growth startup, top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or private equity is preferred.
  • Relationship-building skills, ability to remain calm in crises or criticism, and ability to celebrate successes.
  • Quantitatively inclined and data-savvy, capable of deriving insights from complex data.
  • Proactive, motivated self-starter with a growth mentality, comfortable in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven track record of achievement, delivering business impact, and assuming responsibilities quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and synthesize data.
  • Curious and impactful mindset.
  • Experience with Australian payroll essential.
