About the role

Deel is seeking a highly experienced Staff Product Designer to lead Web3 design initiatives, focusing on decentralized services, DApps, and protocols, translating complex blockchain concepts into intuitive user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Web3 Design Initiatives: Define, own, and deliver end-to-end design for decentralized services, DApps, and protocols.
  • Collaborate Across the Chain: Work with engineering and protocol teams to address technical constraints and opportunities of various blockchains.
  • Advocate for Decentralized Design Systems: Develop a flexible yet robust design system suitable for high-security Web3 interfaces.
  • Prototype with Precision & Speed: Design, prototype, and test features that reduce friction in Web3 flows.
  • Mentor and Grow the Guild: Guide Product Designers on decentralization challenges, including security and usability.
  • Make it feel native: Create seamless experiences integrating crypto and fiat currency withdrawal processes.
  • Drive Clarity from Cryptic Complexity: Simplify complex cryptographic concepts into user-friendly narratives.
  • Outstanding Communication and Community Facilitation: Engage with diverse stakeholders through inspiring design and clear communication.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7-9 years as a Product Designer.
  • At least 2 years leading holistic design as a Staff Product Designer or similar role.
  • Deep passion for Web3 and digital ownership.
  • Experience with experimentation and evidence-based design using data, analytics, and on-chain metrics.
  • Ability to work in a high-ambiguity environment and make high-quality decisions.
  • Strong understanding of Crypto, DeFi, and digital assets.
