About the role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a high impact role on FloQast's sales team focused on obtaining new clients for the AI Accounting Transformation platform. Requires audit/accounting experience and interest in starting a sales career. Hybrid in-office role in NYC or LA.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate new business opportunities and create outreach strategies to build rapport with senior level executives at potential clients
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of client barriers while strategizing solutions FloQast can provide
  • Utilize all available means to create robust prospecting lists (internet sources, social media, referrals, inbound leads)
  • Build outbound communication strategies for sales prospecting (phone, email, social media)
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly activity targets: conversations with influencers/decision makers, scheduling introductory qualifying calls, converting qualified prospects to scheduled demos for Account Executives
  • Track progress and document activities in Salesforce automation systems
  • Work cross-functionally with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Management

Qualifications

  • Past Audit/Accounting experience is REQUIRED, any amount acceptable to apply
