About the role

Lead and grow Yubico's Public Sector sales efforts within the Department of Defense, focusing on strategic growth, team development, and high-level sales engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic and tactical business plan to facilitate large-scale adoption of YubiKeys within the DoD
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
  • Manage the team’s overall performance, including forecasting, territory planning, pipeline review, and consistent quota attainment
  • Own your own success by driving new logo acquisition, expanding existing relationships, and growing new strategic accounts
  • Coordinate with internal resources to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Report to the VP of Public Sector Sales on team performance, pipeline health, and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience managing cybersecurity business within the U.S. DoD
  • Experience managing and leading a sales team
  • Relevant and current contacts within the U.S. DoD
  • Track record of success in sales
  • Confident and skilled in delivering value to the C-suite
  • Knowledge of US Federal Government Identity requirements such as FIPS-201, SP 800-63, OMB M-22-09, and Executive Order 14028 is a plus
