About the role

Talent Lead – Operations & Business at Relay shaping and driving hiring strategies for the non-tech organization, partnering with senior stakeholders to improve talent acquisition and scaling as Relay grows.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end hiring: run the full lifecycle from sourcing and outreach through to offer, while maintaining quality and pace.
  • Be a trusted partner to senior stakeholders: build relationships with Business and Ops Leadership and People, align on priorities, and translate plans into hiring action.
  • Create sharp JDs and scorecards, keep pipelines clean in Ashby, coordinate across hiring managers/agencies, and produce candidate packs/interview kits.
  • Leverage ATS and new tooling (sourcing tools, automation, AI) to scale impact.
  • Use data to drive decisions: track TA metrics and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to speed, quality, and candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a Senior Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Lead
  • Background in hypergrowth startups or scale-ups
  • Structured, clear communicator with strong stakeholder management
  • Data-driven mindset with metrics to prioritise, iterate and improve outcomes
