About the role

Design and deliver production-grade AI agents, owning the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from pilot to deployment; collaborate with enterprises and startups to build scalable AI agents and influence Sierra's platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver production-grade AI agents: build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are central, mission-critical and drive revenue directly to Sierra's growth.
  • Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): complete ownership from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration, building, tuning, and evolving AI agents in production environments, and defining ADLC best practices.
  • Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: work with leaders at major enterprises and innovative startups to understand business challenges and implement AI agents at scale.
  • Build the future of the platform: surface unmet needs, prototype new tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to shape the future of AI agent development at Sierra.

Qualifications

  • Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
  • Builder and tinkerer’s mindset with high agency and a track record of shipping
  • Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
