About the role

Software Engineer focused on designing and delivering production-grade AI agents, leading the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC), partnering with enterprises and startups, and helping shape Sierra's AI agent platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver production-grade AI agents: build, ship, and operate high-performance, reliable agents in production across industries.
  • Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): take ownership from pilot to deployment and continuous iteration, defining ADLC best practices.
  • Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: understand business challenges and implement scalable AI agents across organization stacks.
  • Build the future of the platform: surface unmet needs, prototype new tools/features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
  • Builder mindset with high agency and hands-on coding and shipping
  • Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
