About the role

Product Marketing Manager responsible for defining voice, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for Basis, developing buyer personas and narratives, enabling sales, and driving external storytelling and thought leadership in AI for accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Define voice, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for Basis and build connective tissue between product, sales, and the market to accelerate adoption among accounting and enterprise finance organizations.
  • Develop product positioning and segmentation for key buyer personas (executives, accounting firm partners, CFOs) and collaborate with sales to craft narratives, decks, and demo storylines to enable AEs.
  • Create high-leverage content (case studies, ROI calculators, product videos) to fuel the sales funnel using storytelling, research, and sales enablement.
  • Own competitive intelligence and collaborate with product teams to launch new features, driving external storytelling and thought leadership by publishing insights and frameworks on AI in accounting.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4–10 years in B2B SaaS or enterprise product marketing (fintech or accounting/ERP experience is a major plus).
  • Storytelling prowess to simplify complex technical workflows into clear, value-driven propositions.
  • Strategic execution with ability to toggle between high-level GTM strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Foundational mindset to build marketing functions and processes from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intellectual curiosity about how AI and technology reshape professional work and the accounting industry.
