About the role

Deel is hiring a hands-on Design Leader to own and lead design for its Fintech platform, focusing on global payments experiences for clients and workers, across Web and Mobile, with a strong emphasis on AI integration and product impact.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with PDE Directors to shape future directions for Client and Worker experiences, challenging existing paradigms.
  • Work directly with designers on active B2B and B2C projects to refine UX and solve complex problems.
  • Manage and develop a small team of designers, fostering clarity, raising standards, and prioritizing team well-being.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in Product Design with 3+ years at a very senior IC level (Lead / Staff).
  • At least 2+ years managing designers.
  • Experience designing AI-assisted or AI-powered product features or workflows, or using AI tools in design.
  • Experience in fast-moving product organizations such as scale-ups, fintech, or neo-banks.
  • Strong craft in interaction and visual design.
  • Comfort with B2B and consumer experience design.
  • Solid mobile design experience.
