About the role

Engineering Manager responsible for leading an engineering team, shipping outcomes, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with Product, Design, and Operations to deliver impact.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and enabling others while occasionally contributing to codebase and solving high-impact problems
  • Coaching engineers and tech leads, setting clear direction, and ensuring work moves from idea to production
  • Reviewing meaningful changes, pairing on complex problems, and stepping in on time-sensitive work
  • Owning team delivery from planning to production and real-world impact
  • Raising standards in developer velocity, code quality, observability, incident response, user analytics, and product engagement
  • Hiring strong engineers, giving feedback, conducting fair performance processes, and helping team members grow

Qualifications

  • Strong strategic and technical leadership abilities
  • Experience in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with ability to create structure
  • Excellent communication and feedback skills
  • Ability to unblock teams and drive delivery
  • Willingness to dive into technical work when needed
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Design, and Operations
