About the role

Deel is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for Sales to work closely with global sales teams and leadership, focusing on sales performance, forecasting, and reporting to enhance sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with data engineers, analytics engineers, and analysts to develop tools.
  • Collaborate with senior Sales stakeholders across the globe.
  • Drive the development of sales performance and forecasting data models and reporting infrastructure, including dashboards in Looker.
  • Support data enrichment initiatives for sales tools to provide relevant insights to sales reps.
  • Define, ensure quality, and maintain reliability of key sales metrics such as quota attainment and sales pipeline funnel.
  • Help evolve dbt model infrastructure in collaboration with analytics engineering.
  • Work with data science teams to refine sales forecasting models.
  • Create reports and dashboards in Looker for various stakeholder needs, from highly curated dashboards to self-service frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, CS, or a STEM field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an analytical role.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to tell compelling stories with data.
  • Highly proficient in SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, especially Looker.
  • Some experience in data modeling and metrics design.
