About the role

Deel is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the development of the Knowledge Platforms, AI-powered knowledge distribution tools, and content systems that underpin the company's global compliance and expertise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Knowledge Platform and Knowledge Apps, CMS, and AI-powered knowledge distribution tools used daily by customers and staff.
  • Drive automation and intelligent maintenance of large-scale, dynamic content systems focused on global labor laws and compliance datasets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—content, engineering, design, AI, legal, GTM—to develop backend systems and user-facing experiences.
  • Shape the structure, storage, and distribution of knowledge, including schema design and UX considerations.
  • Enhance UI quality and usability of the Knowledge Hub as a flagship product.
  • Balance internal efficiency with external user delight through system design.
  • Manage team planning, priorities, and execution within an agile framework.
  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure high-quality, accurate knowledge content.

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of experience owning complex internal and external products.
  • Experience with Information Retrieval (AI Search, Ranking), RAG, AI/LLM tooling, automated knowledge extraction.
  • Experience with content platforms, structured data, CMSs, and AI-enabled search.
  • Strong systems thinking, schema design, and collaboration ability with engineering teams.
  • Proven track record of cross-organizational initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills to turn chaos into clarity.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of input into actionable roadmaps.
  • Comfort in making decisions and saying “no” with constructive alternatives.
  • Deep care for quality in content and user experience.
  • Effective operator with ability to run smooth, lightweight agile ceremonies.
