About the role

Fullstack role in the Product Platform area focusing on building reusable internal capabilities and platforms to empower product teams across Alan, with a high-leverage, multi-country scope and a platform-as-a-product mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and evolve internal services, APIs, or SDKs
  • Build and improve core services (e.g., Payment, Messaging, Document Processing, Pricing Engine)
  • Develop and maintain shared platforms and AI tooling with strong adoption across areas
  • Create operational tooling: dashboards, automation for reliability, observability, and scalability
  • Contribute to foundational UX through shared layout systems, navigation, and reusable UI components
  • Collaborate with product crews, Architecture Group and Tech Foundation Area to ensure global scalability and alignment with long-term strategy
  • Own and mentor aspects of the internal platform, influencing product direction and building for scale across multiple countries

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in backend, platform, or infrastructure-oriented engineering roles
  • Experience designing and maintaining internal services, APIs, or SDKs
  • Ability to translate complex problems into elegant solutions
  • Curiosity about the why behind what you build, not just the how
