About the role

Role focused on pricing, product design, and technical guidance for insurance offerings in Belgium within Alan’s insurance team, with emphasis on health, hospitalisation or group insurance and collaboration with sales, engineering and data teams.

Responsibilities

  • Price and shape offers with our sales teams for large corporates and public institutions
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor in client meetings
  • Design insurance products that fit member needs and regulation
  • Support account managers in renewing our most strategic clients, including indexation and loss-ratio conversations

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an actuarial, pricing or underwriting role, ideally on health, hospitalisation or group insurance
  • Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a strong plus
  • Scientific background (actuarial sciences, statistics, mathematics or data science) with an analytical, structured, fact-based approach
  • Comfort navigating technical, data, legal and business questions with clients and internal teams
  • Builder mindset with ability to identify opportunities to improve and scale processes and tools
  • Clear, structured communication in English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to deeply change the insurance industry and challenge the status quo
