About the role

Lead and own Deel’s global social media strategy to build a culturally relevant, creative, and impactful social presence, enhancing brand visibility and growth across platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Deel’s global social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
  • Define and develop an ownable brand voice for each platform.
  • Build and operate a high-velocity content engine balancing cultural moments and consistent content.
  • Lead creative partnerships with external agencies and creators.
  • Lead and develop a small in-house social team (2–3 people).
  • Use social listening and cultural signals to insert Deel into relevant conversations in real-time.
  • Make strategic trade-offs on risks and brand integrity.
  • Define success metrics for social and iterate based on performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience creating or leading viral, culturally relevant social content.
  • Ownership of outcomes in previous roles.
  • Strong understanding of content and tone variation by platform.
  • Excellent editorial judgment and storytelling skills.
  • Experience working with creators, agencies, and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to articulate why content worked.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
