About the role

Manage a team of Payroll Specialists supporting payroll execution across multiple customers and entities, focusing on process improvements, stakeholder relationships, and payroll compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for assigned customers and provide guidance to team members as a subject matter expert
  • Lead a team of Payroll Specialists to ensure timely and compliant payroll delivery
  • Implement and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and controls
  • Analyze payroll data to identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements
  • Deliver training and communication to internal teams to ensure understanding of payroll processes
  • Manage relationships with payroll vendors and tax authorities to ensure timely filings and payments

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience processing payroll for multiple entities across the Czech Republic & Slovakia
  • Strong working knowledge of local payroll and HR regulations for the Czech Republic & Slovakia
  • Fluency in English and Czech language
  • Experience with local payroll systems and vendor management
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working cross functionally
  • Bonus for People management experience
