About the role

A hands-on role combining HR technology expertise, People process understanding, and stakeholder management to support and improve Deel’s internal People systems and products.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the People Success and Compensation teams to understand product needs and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Support and execute organizational structure changes within the system to ensure hierarchy accuracy and reporting reliability.
  • Support People Ops in utilizing the documents product for workflows related to document generation, storage, and compliance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Deel People, including HRIS, Engage, and other modules.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and problem-solver for stakeholders, balancing technical solutions with business needs.
  • Partner with People, Product, and other teams to design, configure, test, and deploy system enhancements, integrations, and automations.
  • Document and deliver training, support, and communication for people system enhancements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HRIS experience with a focus on HRIS configuration and administration.
  • Broad HR technology knowledge, including integrations, data flows, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with people processes such as onboarding, performance, compensation cycles, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and people skills—able to translate technical topics into clear business language.
  • Adaptability and a team-player mindset, thriving in dynamic environments.
  • Experience working in a global company is a plus.
  • Bonus: experience with HR product development, SaaS systems, or support for transitions between people platforms.
