About the role

Internship role at Peakflo focused on developing and implementing machine learning solutions to drive business growth, with emphasis on prompt engineering, agentic architectures, and voice-enabled workflows in a financial context.

Responsibilities

  • Craft voice‑optimized prompt flows: design conversational flows for voice-only interactions, account for pauses/interruptions/intonation, ensure prompts are clear for TTS pronunciation
  • Implement agentic architecture and hierarchical workflows: build finance AI agents coordinating sub‑agents and organize into hierarchical/plan‑and‑execute flows
  • Continuous prompt refinement & iteration: use LLM feedback loops, set up A/B testing, prompt versioning, performance QA, fine-tune LLMs for finance use cases
  • Grounding & retrieval true‑fact enhancement: integrate RAG with knowledge bases or financial APIs to avoid misinformation, maintain tight context control
  • Voice integration & prompt‑tech stack collaboration: integrate prompts with speech recognition, LiveKit, telephony APIs; ensure low latency and real‑time responsiveness
  • AI Solution Development: develop OCR models, intelligent chatbots, and automated approval systems for financial workflows
  • Stay updated with advancements in LLM technologies and AI to drive continuous innovation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field
  • 0.5 - 2 years of industry experience with Machine Learning, Statistics and/or LLM fine-tuning and prompt engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Extensive experience in Python programming
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms like Google Cloud
  • Strong expertise in Python back-end development and launching ML products in production
  • Passion for AI and its potential to transform businesses
