About the role

Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI agents, own the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC), partner with enterprises and startups, and shape the future of Sierra’s AI agent platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI agents: manage and grow a team of engineers building scalable, reliable AI agents in production environments across industries.
  • Own the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): guide the team from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration, establishing and maintaining ADLC best practices.
  • Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: collaborate with leaders to understand business challenges and embed AI agents across organizations to drive transformation.
  • Shape the future of the platform: surface unmet needs, prioritize initiatives, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s platform.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading engineering teams that build and scale end-to-end production systems
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing environments
  • Leadership style that blends high standards with empathy
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical deliverables through customer collaboration
  • Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
