About the role

Graphic Design Intern at Cityfurnish focusing on visual storytelling, social media visuals, and brand-aligned ad creatives. Internship designed for students or new creatives, with potential for full-time opportunities after completion.

Responsibilities

  • Design static posts, carousels, banners for social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter)
  • Create visuals/creatives for performance ad campaigns (conversion, lead gen, sales) on-brand and optimized for different ad platforms
  • Edit and assemble short video content: reels, stories, promo clips, ads; basic motion graphics (transitions, overlays, subtitles)
  • Stay updated on design/video trends and social media ad best practices
  • Support branding projects to maintain visual identity across materials
  • Collaborate with content writers/marketing/performance teams to align designs with campaign goals and audience
  • Understand campaign goals, target audience, and messaging to adapt designs accordingly

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator; video editing tools
  • Strong foundation in layout, color theory, typography, visual hierarchy
  • Bonus: familiarity with motion graphics / After Effects for animated ad creatives
  • Portfolio showcasing design style
