About the role

Role focused on sourcing, procuring, and managing purchasing of goods and services to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition, including vendor management, negotiation, inventory tracking, and collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, and payment terms with suppliers.
  • Conduct regular visits to vendors/suppliers to assess product quality, manufacturing/production standards, capacity, and adherence to agreed specifications.
  • Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders (POs) in line with company policies.
  • Track and follow up on delivery timelines; coordinate with suppliers to resolve delays.
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecast procurement needs, and maintain optimal stock.
  • Maintain and review supplier performance using KPIs such as quality, delivery time, and cost.
  • Manage documentation related to procurement: purchase orders, invoices, contracts, delivery notes, etc.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, finance, warehouse) to understand their procurement needs.
  • Prepare procurement reports and present to senior management.
  • Develop and recommend sourcing strategies and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with tools / tech: CRM or ticketing systems
  • Eagerness to learn and grow with the organization.
