About the role

Platform Engineer role focused on Infra Foundations within the Tech Foundations area to operate and evolve multi-cloud infrastructure, data platforms, observability, and governance with AI-augmented operations. Global, remote-friendly position based in France, Belgium, or Spain.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve cloud foundations & multi-cloud architecture (Infrastructure-as-Code stack with Terraform, Terramate) for international expansion.
  • Operate and evolve data & application platforms (PostgreSQL/Aurora, events pipeline, async workloads, database migration tooling) without leaking complexity into product code.
  • Own reliability, observability & on-call: platform uptime and latency SLOs end-to-end; evolve observability stack (Datadog), incident process (Incident.io), and on-call rotation.
  • Governance & compliance enablement and FinOps: manage infrastructure cost, IAM posture, backup/DR, exit strategy, with scalable automation and reporting.
  • AI-augmented infrastructure operations: integrate AI assistants for incident investigation, runbook execution, and toil reduction.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in Platform engineering, DevOps, Site reliability engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
  • Comfort with automation and tooling; willingness to work in Python/Typescript (not mandatory to have both).
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, alerting or incident management.
  • Ability to design and implement robust infrastructure with focus on reliability and observability.
  • Ability to maintain uptime targets while optimizing costs.
  • Experience building and maintaining internal or external tooling for engineers.
