About the role

Software Engineer specializing in low-level C++ for Windows endpoint protection, working across user-mode and kernel-mode to design and develop security features for SentinelOne’s Endpoint Protection product at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced security features for Windows endpoint protection (user-mode and kernel-mode)
  • Build and optimize mission-critical components such as anti-tampering protections, network sensors, and agent infrastructure
  • Research Windows internals and debug deep system issues
  • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver high-impact security capabilities
  • Contribute to platforms dealing with Windows agent infrastructure (installers, logging, services, communication layer)
  • Rewrite and reimplement existing features, addressing performance and stability at scale
  • Share knowledge within Platform teams and the broader Windows group
  • Support protection for millions of devices across enterprise and government customers

Qualifications

  • Multiple years of experience as a software engineer in low-level programming using modern C++ (or C with willingness to learn modern C++)
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of Windows OS design & internals, Windows low-level development, and debugging tools
  • Experience on production-grade products with wide-scale deployment
  • Strong communication and ability to work across time zones
  • Attention to detail and high coding standards
  • Advantage: experience with Windows Kernel/Drivers, security-focused development, reversing or malware analysis
