About the role

Software Engineer role focusing on Windows low-level development for SentinelOne’s Endpoint Protection platform, spanning user-mode and kernel-mode components, with emphasis on anti-tampering, network sensors, and agent infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced security features for Windows endpoint protection across user-mode and kernel-mode environments
  • Build and optimize mission-critical components including anti-tampering protections, network sensors, and agent infrastructure
  • Research Windows internals and debug deep system issues
  • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver high-impact security capabilities
  • Design, develop primarily in modern C++ (23), test and debug complex real-world problems
  • Rewrite and reimplement existing features where needed and address performance and stability at scale
  • Influence security of millions of Windows devices in enterprise and government customers
  • Share knowledge within Platform teams and the broader Windows group

Qualifications

  • Multiple years of experience as a software engineer in low-level programming with modern C++ (or C and willingness to learn modern C++)
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of Windows OS design & internals, Windows low-level development, debugging Windows applications with standard tools
  • Experience on production-grade products with wide-scale deployment
  • Great communication skills and ability to work independently and across time zones
  • Attention to detail and high coding standards
  • Nice-to-have: Windows Kernel and Windows Drivers development, security-oriented development, reversing or malware analysis
