About the role

Software Engineer specializing in low-level C++ for Windows endpoint protection, contributing to kernel- and user-mode components, anti-tampering, network sensors, and agent infrastructure within SentinelOne’s Endpoint Protection product.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced security features for Windows endpoint protection across user-mode and kernel-mode environments
  • Build and optimize components including anti-tampering protections, network sensors, and agent infrastructure
  • Research Windows internals and debug deep system issues
  • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver high-impact security capabilities
  • Design, develop, test, and debug new features in modern C++ (23)
  • Rewrite and reimplement existing features from scratch when needed
  • Address performance and stability challenges at large scale
  • Influence security of millions of Windows devices across enterprise and government customers
  • Share knowledge within Platform teams and the broader Windows group

Qualifications

  • Multiple years of experience as a software engineer in low-level programming using modern C++ (or C with willingness to learn modern C++)
  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS design & internals, Windows low-level development, and debugging using standard tools
  • Experience on production-grade products with wide-scale deployment
  • Strong communication and collaboration across time zones
  • Attention to detail and high coding standards
  • Desirable: experience with Windows Kernel/Drivers development, security-oriented development, reversing or malware analysis
