About the role

Role focused on managing and scaling ETL/reverse ETL processes for 50k+ members’ eligibility and claims, improving data system audibility and robustness, and influencing downstream data interactions with external sources. Early employee with broad engineering influence and culture-shaping responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and scale the ETL/reverse ETL processes currently supporting 50k+ members' eligibility and claims.
  • Design and implement improvements to audibility, robustness, and flexibility of existing data systems.
  • Influence product thinking around downstream systems and how they interact with data that originates from external sources.
  • Contribute across the entire codebase
  • Set a large part of Yuzu’s company culture
  • Direct the focus of our product from an engineering perspective

Qualifications

  • Ideally 5+ years experience working with complex and large data systems
  • In-person 5 days/week in Flatiron NYC office required
  • Self-directed, curious, fast-paced personality with strong communication skills
