About the role

Lead AI/ML role at Junior building an AI operating system for investment research; early-stage, product-focused AI/ML hire with opportunities to move from research to production, shape product direction, and work closely with customers.

Responsibilities

  • - Move quickly from research to production
  • - Freedom to experiment with new approaches and stay current with the latest research
  • - Raise the quality bar for AI systems used by PE/Consulting firms
  • - Collaborate closely with customers and shape the product direction
  • Sample set of projects include: state-of-the-art transcription using ensembles of frontier models; voice agent for market research interviews; self-improving AI systems with feedback loops; agentic entity-resolution to resolve mistranscribed company names and aliases

Qualifications

  • - Based in NYC
  • - Opinionated about their work and eager to contribute to product decisions
  • - Strong communication skills with client-facing experience
  • - Ability to break down AI/ML problems for non-technical audiences and translate into testable experiments
  • - Experience building LLM systems in a product-focused organization (data gathering/logging, prompt optimization)
  • - Strong bias to action, highly organized, experience working with senior stakeholders on large projects end-to-end
  • - Excited to build a team
