About the role

Temporary position for a Registered Dietitian and Research Assistant to conduct evidence-based nutrition research, develop product briefs, and analyze recipes/meals to support Vesync product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth literature research on nutrition and wellness concepts essential for product development and business requirements.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining up-to-date knowledge repositories on diverse nutrition topics for product development, education, and marketing purposes.
  • Collaborate with the RD or Product Manager to understand project specifics and meet timelines.
  • Create and deliver nutrition education presentations to internal teams to guide product development and marketing strategies.
  • Stay updated on nutrition trends to support content strategies and communications.
  • Develop comprehensive product briefs to guide internal teams in creating visuals and educational materials for nutrition content.
  • Collaborate with Wellness Team, marketing, graphic design, video, and social teams to generate visuals and promote nutrition content.
  • Develop personalized meal plans and recipes tailored to target audience dietary needs.
  • Use nutrition software to assess nutritional content of meal plans and recipes.
  • Perform nutrient analysis to ensure product information is accurate and compliant with guidelines.
  • Recommend innovative recipe ideas or ingredient suggestions aligned with health goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or completion of the Supervised Practice Program for RDs.
  • Knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy.
  • Proficient in clearly communicating complex scientific concepts.
  • Excellent fact-checking skills and scientific literacy.
  • Passion for nutrition and promoting health and wellness.
