About the role
A new ecosystem at the intersection of wellness and technology. The Creative Strategist owns the concepts behind the advertising that drives paid channels, building a high-volume concept pipeline with briefs, production briefs, testing roadmaps, and a system to sustain weekly cadence. Starts from CAC targets and hypotheses in a pre-launch brand environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the Concept Pipeline: Generate genuinely distinct concepts, hooks, and angles at volume and variety.
- Write the Briefs: Customer insight, hook, format, shot list, testing variable, and hypothesis behind each concept.
- Build the System: Brief templates, concept taxonomy, naming/tagging conventions, and intake process for weekly cadence.
- Keep the Pipeline Fed: Collaborate with internal graphics/video, agencies, and creators; plan production to stay ahead of fatigue.
- Brief the Creators: Partner with Creator Partnerships on angles and briefs; ensure paid usage rights are covered.
- Work Inside the Claims Line: Ensure claims are medically, regulatorily, and legally compliant; build a library of approved hooks.
- Read the Numbers: Analyze hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, CPA; identify winners and iterate.
- Stay Ahead of Fatigue: Maintain refresh cadence to prevent decay in concept effectiveness.
- Make Assets Work Twice: Repurpose winning hooks/assets across lifecycle channels (email, on-site, organic).
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with media buying, creator partnerships, brand/creative, product, and lifecycle teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4+ years in performance creative, direct response, or paid social for consumer brands with hands-on DTC experience.
- Deep working knowledge of how creative performs on Meta; full-channel experience is a plus.
- Ability to present concepts, briefs, and the associated performance data; distinguish new angles from new edits.
- Comfortable with ambiguity; able to start from a CAC target and hypothesis.
- Experience in health/wellness/medical device/supplements or similarly regulated space; capable of writing hooks that survive review.
- Analytical mindset; able to interpret creative performance to guide production decisions; willing to kill ideas that don’t perform.
- Cross-functional collaboration with media buying, creator partnerships, brand/creative, product, and lifecycle teams.
- Nice to Have: Light production ability; basic mockups/rough cuts; on-camera comfort for native short-form content (not required).
