About the role

Senior Forward Deployed Accountant (FDA) responsible for deploying FloQast Transform AI Agent solutions to enterprise customers, driving adoption, technical success, and measurable ROI through automation, with hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and operationalize AI Agents that automate complex accounting processes to streamline accounting operations, strengthen internal controls, and accelerate financial processes.
  • Lead high-impact transformation engagements with enterprise accounting teams to diagnose operational bottlenecks, evaluate financial processes, and identify opportunities to automate accounting workflows with AI Agents.
  • Drive enterprise adoption and expansion by engaging directly with CFOs, Controllers, and other stakeholders, guiding workflow redesign and change management for scaling adoption of AI Agents across the organization.
  • Perform deep technical troubleshooting, including reviewing and editing Python scripts, writing SQL queries for integrations, and diagnosing configuration issues across systems.
  • Serve as the functional and technical escalation point for complex issues involving integrations, data flows, and automation logic.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management to recover at-risk accounts and deliver adoption programs around AI Agent deployment.
  • Influence product direction by delivering insights to Product, participating in feature evaluation, and contributing to Transform’s roadmap.
  • Provide leadership and quality assurance for implementation partners to ensure consistency and compliance with Transform’s methodology.
  • Travel up to 60% to customer sites for hands-on deployment, training, and adoption workshops.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and ambassador of the Transform product line, educating customers and internal teams on AI-enabled accounting transformation.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, controllership, or finance consulting, including roles such as Accounting Manager or Controller, with deep understanding of core accounting operations.
  • Background in accounting or finance; CPA preferred or equivalent experience in public accounting, audit, or corporate accounting leadership.
