About the role

Senior Data Scientist role focused on building intelligence to inform and define pricing decisions for Relay's last-mile marketplace. Collaborate with Operatational Research Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers to develop production pricing models and strategies in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in Relay marketplace pricing dynamics and define how routes are priced.
  • Build and maintain production models that inform the daily pricing decisions.
  • Experiment and measure the impact of model improvements or pricing strategy changes.

Qualifications

  • Experience modelling marketplace dynamics, pricing strategies or related domain.
  • Fluent in Python and SQL.
  • Strong modelling skills and systems thinking.
  • Ability to work with high autonomy and communicate with non-technical team members.
