About the role

Enterprise Sales Engineer role focusing on GTM technical leadership, design and demo of Sierra’s Agent product, and cross-functional collaboration to drive enterprise sales.

Responsibilities

  • GTM technical expert: Design and demo Sierra’s Agent product, offering technical solutions to solve customer needs and answer technical questions about solutions
  • Cross-functional work: Collaborate with Sales, Product and Agent Engineering to drive GTM and improve Agents through customer-driven product development
  • Lead & support our customers: Be a GTM and technical leader in early customer conversations to understand and anticipate needs and advance the AI solution

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or customer-facing technical sales
  • Past experience in demo building, presenting, and working with customers in GTM
  • Experience in relationship-building with potential customers, including executives and technical leaders
  • Experience in leading the sales process with Enterprise customers
  • Ability to connect a prospect’s business problems with Sierra’s solutions and explain to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to leverage AI tools effectively in discovery prep, solution design, demos, prototype building, and technical proposals, with ownership of accuracy of outputs
  • Bachelor's Degree or above; bonus if in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
