About the role

Software Engineer focused on building production-grade AI agents and driving the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) for Sierra’s customer-facing AI agent platform, with Mandarin language requirement to support Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver production-grade AI agents: build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents in production environments across industries.
  • Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): ownership from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration, defining ADLC best practices.
  • Partner with large enterprises and startups to understand business challenges and embed AI agents at scale.
  • Build the future of the platform: surface unmet needs, prototype tools/features, and collaborate across teams to evolve Sierra’s product.

Qualifications

  • Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
  • Strong technical problem solving in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
  • A builder and tinkerer’s mindset with high agency
  • Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required to support interactions with Mandarin speaking clients.
