About the role

Video Editor role at Cityfurnish focusing on creating social, ad, product, testimonials, and brand content with storytelling that drives business impact. Work directly with founders, marketing, and creative teams to produce campaigns and brand stories.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
  • Edit ad creatives, product videos, testimonials and brand campaigns.
  • Transform raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos with compelling storytelling and pacing.
  • Add transitions, captions, sound effects, music, motion graphics, animations, and visual effects.
  • Perform color correction, audio cleanup, and final mastering to ensure premium-quality output.
  • Organize footage and maintain a structured editing workflow.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all content formats.
  • Stay on top of trends, memes, editing styles, and viral content formats.
  • Collaborate with founders and marketing teams to conceptualize campaigns and storytelling angles.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of professional video editing experience.
  • Experience working with startups, D2C brands, agencies, creators, or content teams is preferred.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing short-form and long-form content.
