About the role

Senior SDET responsible for owning the quality strategy, building scalable automation, and driving release confidence for SentinelOne's cloud security and CNAPP-related features, with emphasis on API/service-level validation, performance, and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Own the quality strategy for key Cloud Security features and services across functional, integration, and end-to-end test coverage.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test infrastructure, emphasizing API and service-level validation for distributed, high-throughput systems (and UI validation where applicable).
  • Build testing approaches that validate the accuracy of detection and policy engines to guard against false positives/negatives.
  • Design and run performance, scale, and resilience tests for services that evaluate hundreds of thousands of cloud resources and Kubernetes objects across multiple regions.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA/automation engineers to define test plans early and improve release confidence.
  • Develop, execute, and improve automated test suites for new/existing functionality; analyze failures and drive resolution with engineering.
  • Own validation from feature design through release, including test planning, execution, triage, and sign-off.
  • Raise the bar on product quality by identifying gaps in testability, observability, reliability, and release readiness.
  • Extend quality coverage into Cloud AI Security as CNAPP capabilities expand to secure AI workloads/infrastructure.
  • Improve quality processes, dashboards, reporting, and CI signals for faster and safer releases.
  • Mentor other engineers on automation best practices, debugging, and quality engineering principles.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation / automation development.
