About the role

Senior SW Engineer focusing on Singularity Marketplace, a multi-tenant, event-driven platform for third-party integrations within SentinelOne's AI SIEM ecosystem. Responsible for building the next version of the Marketplace Catalog, improving discovery, publication, versioning, and integration APIs at scale with AI-assisted development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, document, deploy, and operate large-scale applications, primarily in Go and partially in Java.
  • Contribute to architecting high-volume, low-latency services capable of processing millions of events per second.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
  • Participate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Improve system reliability and data integrity through observability, performance analysis, capacity planning, and operational excellence.
  • Understand & maintain existing codebase through refactoring and applying fixes/features.
  • Evaluate and adopt technologies to address scale, reliability, and large data volumes.
  • Use AI-assisted engineering workflows to accelerate development without compromising quality or security.
  • Establish and promote engineering practices that improve code quality, security, testing, and delivery velocity.
  • Participate in technical discussions and design reviews, provide high-quality code reviews, and mentor other engineers.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Go and/or Java (or both)
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, microservices, concurrency, and data processing
  • Comfort with AI-native development practices to enhance code quality, security, and velocity
  • Customer-focused mindset with ability to incorporate customer feedback into improvements
  • Collaborative approach to development with design discussions and code reviews
  • Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka (big advantage)
  • Ability to quickly learn new products and understand their inner workings
  • Proven ability to collaborate with local and remote teams across time zones
  • Excellent communication skills for liaison with product and engineering teams
  • Experience in security-related product development is a plus
