About the role

Senior SW Engineer role focused on Singularity Marketplace, a multi-tenant, event-driven platform enabling third-party integrations within SentinelOne's AI SIEM ecosystem. Responsible for designing, building, and evolving the Marketplace Catalog and related APIs/services, with emphasis on AI-native development practices, security, and scalable data processing.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, document, deploy, and operate large-scale applications, primarily in Go and partially in Java.
  • Contribute to architecting high-volume, low-latency services capable of processing millions of events per second.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions within the data architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Improve system reliability and data integrity through observability, performance analysis, capacity planning, and operational excellence.
  • Understand & maintain existing codebase with refactoring and feature fixes.
  • Evaluate and adopt technologies for scale, reliability, and large data volumes.
  • Use AI-assisted engineering workflows to accelerate development without compromising quality or security.
  • Promote engineering practices to improve code quality, security, testing, and delivery velocity.
  • Participate in technical discussions and design reviews, provide high-quality code reviews, and mentor other engineers.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, preferably Go and/or Java, with ability to work across both.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, microservices, concurrency, and data processing.
  • Comfort with AI-native development practices to enhance code quality, security, and velocity.
  • Customer-focused mindset with ability to communicate customer value and gather feedback.
  • Collaborative approach to development through design discussions, code reviews, and cross-functional partnerships.
  • Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka (big advantage).
  • Ability to quickly learn new products and understand their inner workings.
  • Strong collaboration with local and remote teams across time zones.
  • Excellent communication skills with product and engineering teams.
  • Prior experience developing security-related products is a plus.
