Implementation Specialist
About the role
Hands-on, customer-facing engineering role responsible for onboarding customers, wiring up integrations, and driving time-to-value from signed contract to production.
Responsibilities
- Own customer onboarding end to end: land in their environment, scope the integration, and get them to production fast
- Get hands-on with the product against real customer data, build the integration, and solve the problems that block go-live
- Run technical discovery: diagnose where a customer's extraction or pipeline breaks, and know whether it's usage, a bug, or a real product gap
- Turn a successful launch into adoption and expansion, and partner with the Deployment team to hit team targets
- Be the trusted technical voice during rollout, and bring what you learn in the field back to product and engineering
- Know when to solve it yourself and when to pull in engineering
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role or equivalent
- Experience in implementation, forward-deployed, solutions, or customer-facing engineering
- Technical ability to read code, use an API, and build real integrations
- Proven track record of moving customers from signed to live in production
- Ability to distinguish user error, bugs, and product gaps; avoid unnecessary feature requests
- Strong ability to translate technical details into business value while keeping both audiences engaged
- Preference for backgrounds in API/devtools, solutions engineering, or technical account management

About Firecrawl
The web data API for AI
Firecrawl is a web data infrastructure platform that converts websites into clean, structured data optimized for AI applications through a simple API. Originally built as an internal tool at Mendable to solve their own data ingestion challenges, the team recognized the broader need for reliable web data extraction and transformed it into a standalone product. The platform combines web search, scraping, and AI-powered parsing into a unified solution, focusing on the core developer priorities of reliability, speed, and ease of use. By abstracting away the complexities of web data extraction, Firecrawl serves as the foundational data layer that enables AI applications to seamlessly access and process web content in the exact format they need.
