About the role

In-House Technical Recruiter at Firecrawl responsible for owning end-to-end recruiting across engineering, research, GTM, and G&A, partnering with AI recruiting channels, agencies, sourcing tools, and internal stakeholders to build a fast, high-quality hiring machine.

Responsibilities

  • Own every recruiting channel: AI recruiting partners, agencies, sourcing tools, referrals, and inbound as one funnel.
  • Brief and calibrate partners to target profiles; provide fast, specific feedback on submissions.
  • Judge submission quality and act on insights about partner performance.
  • Source directly and build pipeline when a channel underperforms for hard roles.
  • Run the end-to-end process: screening, intro chats, scheduling, references, offer packets, closing.
  • Own Ashby as a system: pipelines, stages, AI screening criteria per role, reporting.
  • Keep hiring managers moving: weekly syncs, detailed candidate notes, flag stalled loops.
  • Track metrics: time to hire, pass rates by stage, source quality; optimize funnel.
  • Keep postings current: draft job descriptions on template and hand off to onboarding.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting, with technical hires closed at a startup
  • Technical recruiting experience: backend, infrastructure, ML, or developer tools
  • Experience with agencies or sourcing partners and providing actionable feedback
  • Fluent in Ashby (or similar ATS) and use AI tools for sourcing, screening, and writing
  • Ability to discuss compensation and equity with candidates and involve hiring managers when needed
