About the role

Special Projects Lead to validate and launch Fleek's new category bets, turning thesis into proven economics and potentially owning the category end-to-end. Role focuses on sourcing supply, integrating with existing demand, and building the economics and operations for new supply categories or geographies in Fleek's marketplace for secondhand fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Run bets through the gates: market research to suppliers to first GMV with defined win and kill metrics.
  • Go where the supply is: visit suppliers, graders and rag houses in new markets to secure stock.
  • Sell supply into live demand: onboard brands, brokers, graders and wholesalers and enable Fleek's buyers to transact on new inventory.
  • Make the kill calls: maintain a clear view of unit economics and competitive landscape; decide to double down or cut based on evidence.
  • Be the ops function, for now: design importer-of-record structures, duties, freight cost and last-mile for new flows.
  • Ride the AI infrastructure: plug bets into Fleek’s agentic outreach and enrichment engine and extend it.
  • Learn the actual trade: understand stock grading, routing and pricing across markets and identify inventory opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Zero-to-one is your natural habitat. You’ve built something from nothing as a founder, early employee, or launched a new line inside an existing company.
  • Operator and commercial in one person. Comfortable being measured on GMV in the first quarter.
  • AI fluency and comfort with agents/automation.
  • Strong signals: instinct for physical goods, deal structuring, cross-border trade, logistics or supply chain operations.
