About the role

Manager/Director of Core Operations to own the operating infrastructure that keeps the care delivery engine running for a fast-growing dementia care startup. Own billing & finance operations, core operational systems, and capacity planning to scale enrollment and care navigation while ensuring compliance and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrity and throughput of our revenue cycle — claim accuracy, reconciliation, denial management, and days-to-bill.
  • Stand up billing operations for new service lines as they come online, designing the process and controls before volume arrives.
  • Build and maintain the controls and dashboards that make billing performance visible, owning the operational execution and the numbers end to end.
  • Own the operational finance processes for ensuring partners and vendors are paid accurately and on time.
  • Own the core operational systems the team runs on day to day — cal.com, DialPad, the Ops team Notion — including configuration, discipline, and the roadmap for what to build, adopt, or retire.
  • Design the data flows and handoff workflows connecting enrollment, care navigation, and billing so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Select, implement, and operationalize new tooling that earns its place in the stack, continuously testing what’s working.
  • Build and own the model that matches staffed capacity to patient demand across enrollment and care navigation.
  • Own the program-routing logic that will place patients into the right pathway for both care fit and sustainable economics.
  • Connect headcount decisions to demand so the team staffs ahead of growth, not behind it.
  • Design the SOPs, decision trees, and controls that keep operations compliant as we scale.
  • Work closely with Enrollment, Care Navigation, and Product to ensure the operating system supports the whole delivery motion.
  • Stand up new systems and processes as needed to support new business lines or functions.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 8+ years of total experience, with preference for a consulting background plus time in an operations, or finance-operations function at a high-growth healthcare or vertical SaaS company.
  • Strong history of achievement (top schools, top companies, high impact projects).
  • Track record of building or scaling operational infrastructure — systems, processes, and models.
  • Strong analytical horsepower: ability to reason from numbers, build usable models, and structure ambiguity.
  • Hands-on fluency building capacity models, reconciliations, and operational dashboards; comfortable with ops tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to make a complex system legible to a cross-functional team.

About Craniometrix

We're building the one-stop-shop care platform for Alzheimer's…

Alzheimer’s is tough. And while there is no cure, getting help should be 100x easier than it is today. We’ve raised over $6 million to solve that problem. When someone is going through the disease, there are many different things they need help with (i.e. memory issues, depression, fall risk, safety in the home, etc). The primary person responsible for that care is one of the patient’s loved ones – usually a child or a spouse. That’s a really difficult thing for the loved one to do. It’s stressful, time consuming, and difficult. If we can make their lives easier, we can not only improve their experience but also create better patient outcomes. We’re building the world’s first one-stop-shop, d2c care platform for Alzheimer’s, starting by optimizing the care monitoring, management, and intervention processes.
